Don Mitchell <Don.Mitchell@...>
Appreciate the opportunity to discuss the needs for Vendor input into OCP ACF Attached is a summary PPT.
Immediate goal - create library of reference designs with real vendor products
Thanks!! (see notes below on upcoming OCP ACF events at AFCOM and 7x24) Kind Regards

Subject: RE: OCP ACS Immersion monthly call (personal invite) - ACF request of ACS Vendors - Revit Content of OEM product Importance: High
Looking forward to the call tomorrow. Attached is the current status of ACF workstream development
Would like to focus my 5 minutes tomorrow on a request for ACS vendors to provide Revit content of their products, similar to what Schneider is already doing. See Appendix A of the Reference Design Guidance Document for discussion of what this entails. The Advanced Cooling Facilities team will be hosting several panel discussions at events this summer at 7x24, DCD, AFCOM. Where we have product examples, we will highlight those products and vendor that support the construction industry with BIM content With Revit content, it is very easy to add vendor products to Revit designs, making “reference designs” great planning tools, and ultimately construction tools.
Appreciate that most vendors do not use Revit in their product development, and terms like BIM LoD 350 or 400 are foreign to many. However, the construction industry is very familiar with these terms. When an engineer/contractor seeks to create construction documents, they need models of vendor products with accurate geometries and information on pipe locations (but not excessive detail on cosmetic issues). If the vendor does not have content available, the MEP needs to pay someone to model the vendor content, adding cost and time to the design process.
Thanks (see notes below on upcoming OCP ACF events at AFCOM and 7x24) Kind Regards
